Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the travel services provided by “Wonderers”, located in Chania, Crete, Greece. By booking a tour or any travel service with us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Booking and Payment

Booking Process

All bookings must be made through our website, by phone or e-mail.
A deposit of 30% of the total cost is required to confirm your booking.
The remaining balance can be paid on the day of the day tour.
In the case of a multi-day program, the remaining balance can be paid up until 1 month before the start of the program.

Payment Methods

We accept payments via credit & debit card, payment link, bank transfer, and cash (for in-person bookings).
All prices are quoted in Euros (€).

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation by Client

Day Trips:

Cancellations made 7 days or more before the starting date of the trip will receive a full refund of the deposit, minus bank expenses.
Cancellations made within 2-7 days of the starting date will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the deposit, minus bank expenses.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the starting time will be subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the deposit.

Multi-Day Trips:

Cancellations made one month or more before the starting date of the trip will receive a full refund of payments made, minus bank expenses and a 10% administration fee of the total cost.
Cancellations made within one month of the starting date will be subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the total cost.

Cancellation by the Agency

Wonderers reserve the right to change or cancel the itinerary without prior notice in the event of active hazards like adverse weather conditions, trail difficulties, natural disasters, or emergencies. Participants will be informed of the reasons for such decisions. While refunds are not provided, an alternative itinerary will be proposed.
Wonderers may adjust or cancel the itinerary without prior notice if the group experiences poor dynamics or physical conditions that prevent completing the activity. No refunds will be issued.

Travel Insurance

Wonderers is covered by Professional Liability Insurance.
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, personal accidents, and trip cancellations.

Liability

Agency’s Liability

Wonderers act as an intermediary for transport, accommodation, and other services. We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage incurred during the trip.
We will not be held responsible for any delays, accidents or natural disasters.

Client’s Responsibility

Clients are responsible for their own actions and the consequences thereof during the trip.
Clients must comply with local laws and respect local customs and traditions.
Extra charges may apply if the clients wish to modify the itinerary.

Health and Safety

Clients must inform Wonderers of any pre-existing medical conditions or dietary requirements at the time of booking.
Clients are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit for the activities included in the tour.
Clients are responsible for their personal equipment and must have proper equipment as instructed by the guide.
Outdoor activities are inherently adventurous and may involve discomfort and some level of risk, including property damage, injury, illness, or inconvenience. Participants acknowledge these risks.

Privacy Policy

Wonderers respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.
Personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of providing the services booked and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
During the event, participants may be photographed or recorded on video. Wonderers will use this footage for promotional and advertising purposes. Participants who prefer not to appear in our promotional materials should inform us accordingly.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Greece.
Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Crete.

Wonderers reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Please review them periodically for changes.
