Go behind the scenes in a wood fired bakery, for a hands-on experience kneading mini barley bread buns. Savor the final product, drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and topped up with freshly grated tomato and mizithra soft cheese, along with other local treats.
Our next stop is the Holy Monastery of the Life-Giving Spring, built in 1580. Besides its architectural and archaeological value, it is a monastery where arts and organic farming are thriving with the devotion of the sisterhood.
The tour will conclude by visiting a family estate planted with grape vines, olive and fruit trees. Wander through the field, immerse in history, tradition and nature. Captivated by the aromas, it is time to taste raki distilled on site, wine and local cheese accompanied by delicious homemade organic jams.
